August 8th 2011 Meeting:

Often when building a new image, logo, or some sort of design we end up using both Illustrator and Photoshop. This month's meeting will cover various ways to work between the two programs, moving layers , whole images, paths....

Our normal meeting spot, Harlow Gallery, is occupied. So:

* Agenda: Looking at CS5.5 + software drawing for new Adobe CS5.5 + a couple of Adobe t's as runner up prizes.

NEWS: Starting in July our meetings will need to be moved to the second Mondays of the month.

Well, one week late but we are indeed having our meeting this month.

And CS5.5 is out, so the meeting will cover some of the new things in CS5.5. We can poke around a bit to see what is new.
Also a little playing with CSS3 and HTML5 just for fun.

Byte the Muse The Adobe meeting is tonight, April 26, over at Cony High School from 7:00 to 8:00. Bring a friend. Blend Modes in Photoshop. There are many ways to use and access Blend Modes and the more you use them the more you find you want to use them. These modes are useful for painting, easier masking, style effects and well, yah, blending. RSVP Chris

The holidays are rushing in and our meeting is a week early. Hoping to avoid everyone's holiday chaos of parties, visits and travel.

This month we have a new box of Adobe goodies to find homes for. And we will do our bigtime software drawing...pulling a lucky name from the hat, no wait it's a box. Rumor has it there may be cookies as well.

This month we will play around a bit with the new Adobe Touch Apps for android tablets. Adobe Photoshop Touch, Ideas, Proto, Debut, Collage and Kuler. A very touchy meeting. And then a few fun things I found for playing in Photoshop.

Bring a friend, bring a dog, brings some cookies. Bring yourselves.

Our December Meeting will be on December 5 this year. This is partly because of a scheduling conflict at the Harlow...but this also moves the meeting away from the chaos closer tot he holidays.
